Bangalore, India's Silicon Valley?

I was reading this blog by Savita Kini and started to feel that she has jumped on the India shining bandwagon. How ever, she makes a slow U turn and clears the facade we and media have built. I remember reading some where that California by itself is the 6th largest economy in the whole world. Any way,She summarizes B lore and the hoopla around it in two sentences as "So my humble request to people: let’s stop calling Bangalore Indian’s Silicon Valley. We are not even 10% of what Silicon Valley is all about. Lets get to the task of reaching there, rather than pat ourselves on the back for few $$ that we have made in the past decade." With out manufacturing,infrastructure and indigenous services sectors India is merely the back office of world and nothing more.
